American Family Association is circulating a petition to protect
children by pressuring Home Depot to exclude them from corporate
sponsored gay pride celebrations, where they might be exposed to cross
dressing and political activism. The pressure takes the form of a
letter writing and calling campaign directed at the Home Depot
Consumer Affairs department. The campaign is here:

My response was to send the following letter to the Home Depot
Consumer Affairs department.

Dear Home Depot:

Children are our future. It seems that you are helping parents to
teach their children to celebrate diversity. May your efforts help
prevent violence, violence that arises out of ignorance and distrust
of what is different.

I am grateful to the bigots at American Family Association for
bringing your admirable diversity policy to my attention.
